Synchronic was entrusted to elevate Michael Jackson’s legendary track “Thriller” with a remix incorporating vintage synths, pipe organs and choir to help get us all back to feeling a little Strange.
For the teaser trailer for "The Expendables 3", we were called upon to create a modern, trailer-ized, rock version of the “Colonel Bogey March,” famously whistled in the film “The Bridge on the River Kwai.”
Our cue “Lilliputian Drums” is prominently featured in the backend of this trailer. Additionally more than twenty of our sound design cues were used in the campaign for “The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug.”
More than 60 of our sound design and music cues were used in the "Pacific Rim" campaign. The film’s director, Guillermo Del Toro, loved the Kaiju scream we created for this trailer so much that he used it in the film. This Kaiju scream can be heard at 2:10 in this trailer. Our sound designer, Brandon Burnside, won a Key Art Award for Sound Design for his work on this trailer.
